This job was posted by : For more information, please see: RPC's Early Childhood Education Center is currently seeking a Family Advocate to join our TEAM!This position provides family support and child health services to families with children from birth to 5 years old. Candidates seeking to join our team must be creative and be able to develop a positive classroom environment for the children that makes learning engaging, effective, and FUN! Bachelors degree in Social Services or Human Development required or Bachelors degree in a related field with 2 years of Case Management experience - Ability to fulfill DCFS requirements for personnel, including a physical exam, immunizations and a criminal record check - Ability to engage families in services for themselves and their child, maintain records of services provided, and support family-identified goals - Basic computer competency - Valid drivers license - Ability to travel to home visits, trainings and meetings. - Ability to lift children up to 60 pounds in an emergency. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. - Prior experience with working with children in an early childhood program is preferred.
