Low Voltage Data Center Technician - All Experience Levels - Phoenix, AZ Join Next Level Technician as a
Low Voltage Data Center Technician in Phoenix, AZ! We're hiring technicians across
all experience levels , from candidates looking to break into the data center industry to experienced low voltage professionals. Earn
$20-$30/hr based on experience , with weekly pay, benefits, training, and opportunities to grow your data center skillset.
Responsibilities: - Pull, route, dress, label, and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
- Assist with or perform testing of installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
- Punch down voice and data jacks
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and other data center infrastructure
- Assist with fiber optic installation, routing, and connectivity
- Maintain proper cable management and follow data center installation standards
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and installation documentation based on experience level
- Follow all site-specific safety, security, and data center procedures
Requirements: - All experience levels encouraged to apply , from entry-level candidates to experienced low voltage technicians
- Experience or interest in data centers, structured cabling, telecommunications, or fiber optics
- Entry-level candidates should have a strong willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced technicians should have hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, fiber, cable management, testing, or related data center infrastructure
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team based on experience level
- Basic hand tools and PPE preferred (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the Phoenix area
- BICSI, Lift, OSHA, or other industry certifications are a plus (not required)
