Position: Mechanical FEA Modeler (Abaqus)
Location: Cupertino, CA Onsite
Duration: Long Term
Experience: 3+ years in Abaqus CAE
Education: BS/MS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Key Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with Abaqus CAE / FEA modeling
Expert knowledge of model preparation, meshing, material models, boundary conditions, and load applications
Experience with NX CAD for geometry preparation
ANSA / HyperMesh experience is a plus
Python/scripting experience for Abaqus automation is preferred
Experience with composite materials, advanced materials, or battery technology is a plus
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed FEA models using Abaqus CAE
Perform pre-processing and post-processing of simulations
Create high-quality meshes and material models
Troubleshoot modeling and convergence issues
Support mechanical, structural, and thermal simulations
