Job Duties AbidebyandfollowestablishedMarquisSafetyrulesandpractices. UsesIndustrialRopeAccessmethodsandrelatedequipmenttoaccessandcompleteawidevarietyofmaintenance,repairsandotherindustrialworktaskswhileonropesorindifficultaccessareas. Maintainsasafe,secureandhealthyenvironmentbyadheringtotheIRAT/SPRATOSHAstandardsandpractices. Ensuresteammembersutilizeproperpersonalprotectiveequipment. Inspectsandverifiesropeaccesssystemsandcomponentsbeforeuse. Participatesinrequiredtrainingandmaintainsaworkingunderstandingofropeaccesssafeworkingpractices. Performsdailyinspectionsandverifiesropeaccesssystemsandcomponentsareworkingproperly. RecognizeworksitehazardsthroughcompletingJobSafetyAnalysis(JSA) Maintainsproficiencyatrescuetechniquesandassistinrescuesasdirectedandinaccordancewithcertificationlevel. Qualification Standards: IRATALevelI,IIcertified InsualtionExperience Highschooldiplomaorequivalent Mustpossessexcellentcommunication,interpersonal,organizationalandproblemsolvingskills Mustbeabletopassabackgroundandhairfollicletesting. Complywithcustomersjobsitesafetyrequirements Abilitytoworkatheightswhileperformingworktask. ValidDrivers'License Performsphysicalactivitiesthatrequireconsiderablyuseofarmsandlegsandmovingthewholebody,suchasclimbing,lifting,balancing,andwalking Abilitytolift50pounds.
