This Tool & Die Maker – Mold opportunity is built for experienced professionals ready to construct, troubleshoot, and continuously improve tooling that supports production. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tool & Die Maker – Mold position include: Journeyman tool and die maker status or at least 8 years of equivalent toolmaking experience. Hands-on experience building, repairing, and maintaining die-casting dies. Ability to independently produce tooling from tool drawings and/or I.G.E.S. files through final fit and assembly. Proficiency operating toolroom equipment including CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinding machines, drills, and heat-treating equipment. Ability to measure and machine parts to print tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as CMM, micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges. Construct, develop, alter, fit, align, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair tooling, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, special machines, and equipment. Provide sketches to engineering to support drawings for tooling or new special machines and equipment. Support training other tool and die maker associates and help build an internal team.
