APRN First Assist / Physician Assistant Opportunity Join a Leading Surgical Team in Tulsa, OK
Key Responsibilities:
Provide surgical first assist services and advanced clinical support alongside physicians
Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and clinical evaluations
Develop, implement, and manage patient care plans within scope of practice
Assist with procedures and treatments according to established protocols
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing as appropriate
Provide patient education and promote wellness throughout the care continuum
Manage documentation including medical records, care plans, and billing requirements
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
Maintain compliance with Saint Francis Health System, OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
or
Advanced Practice Nursing program
Current Oklahoma PA license
or
Oklahoma APRN license with specialty certification
APRNs must have current Oklahoma BON Prescriptive Authority Recognition
APRN candidates must have First Assist certification
Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills
New graduates and candidates with 0 1 years of experience are encouraged to apply
